A curving front walk of clay-toned pavers laid in herringbone inside a charcoal soldier-course border, running from the street curb up toward a house

Front walk, finished

Walkways

Clay-toned units in herringbone inside a charcoal soldier course, curved rather than straight, run from the curb to the door. The bare soil either side is the trench the old concrete came out of.

A narrow poured concrete walk, stained and worn, curving from the street curb up to the door of a brick ranch house, with garden hoses lying across it

Front walk, before

Walkways

The same walk as it was: four feet of builder's concrete, stained, worn at the curb, with hoses lying across it. Their own photograph, carrying their own BEFORE label.

The old concrete walk broken out and stacked in slabs on the lawn beside pallets of new pavers, with a wheelbarrow and an open trench where the walk was

Front walk, demolition

Walkways

The middle of the same job. The old slab broken out and stacked on the lawn, pallets of new units alongside, the trench open and the wheelbarrow still loaded.

A broad driveway of tumbled clay pavers in mottled reds and browns, laid in running bond and running away between a house and a shrub bed toward a white-posted porch

Driveways

Gray tumbled units run the full width between the house wall and the fence, with a charcoal band across the far end and cream stone paving meeting it at the near corner.

Grill counter from the yard

Outdoor Kitchens

The same counter seen from the far side of the yard, which is the view that shows how it sits against the porch and how much lawn is left in front of it.

The clearest picture of what a seating wall is for. A light gray field inside a charcoal border, wrapped by a curved wall with four columns, a fire pit at the head and a dining set in the body.

About these captions

No prices, no timelines, no names.

A photograph cannot tell you what a job cost or how long it took, and nothing on record says either. So this page does not guess. What it can tell you is what was built and how it was laid, and that is what the captions do.

Three of these are one job: the front walk before, during demolition and finished. They are the only sequence in the set, and they run together on the home page. Everything else is finished work photographed after the crew left.

There is more of it on their own Facebook and Instagram than fits on this page, including jobs shot after this site was built.

Yours would be the next one on this page.
